I do have a long term goal and that is to write, record and to play music. This is part of the idea of the Snave Project that I've ever so slowly been playing with. Short term goal? Retire from my day job so I can devote my time and energy into this.
I work in the respectable, professional field of law enforcement and have held many jobs and rankings along my career from uniform, to plain clothes, officer to supervisor. Through all the departments and agencies I've been a part of, everyday is a reward in some form or another. I wouldn't take anything away from that at all.
However, my heart always takes me back to a simple stool and a guitar, where my thoughts are transcribed onto paper and saved onto reel to reel through one of a couple Teac machines with the assistance of a small board and eight tracks of personal magic.
